My wife just came back and bought a real nice set of beautiful clothes.
Might not be the last time she goes there! Janjri Jasani
Anokhi is a great place for modern and traditional Indian wear. Their fabrics and block prints a beautiful, the quality is excellent and the clothes last really long. It's also very reasonably priced and supports local artisans. Gulielma Fager
Was recommended to me by former US state department employee stationed in Mumbai, was looking forward to it. Staff never spoke to me, were not helpful, and store was not organized in a way that made it easy to find things for kids... all items tied in parcels so was impossible to see what they were without asking unhelpful, disengaged staff. Left without buying anything.Cunningham Sheena
Well, very disappointed in my service and experience there today. Travelling with a friend and both love Anokhi having visited shops in Delhi, Chennai, Fort Cochin and this in Mumbai over the years when visiting India. It was raining and we were the only customers yet the staff (5 of them) appeared bored, miserable and unhelpful. I spent a lot of money there and my friend ( who was wearing a Kurta she bought in Anokhi in 2007) could not find anything to wear despite asking the staff who produced a single Kurta in a shop that specialises in kurtas.
She selected a pair of pj's and they put on the counter yet while we were still there they replaced on the shelf. Much sighing and we felt uncomfortable.
After paying asked how best to get a taxi when obviously loaded down with shopping in rain and all they could come up with was " on main road".
They missed out on sales because my friend was so pissed off.
Shame on you, Anokhi. So disappointed.hansu pardiwala
Lovely collection of cotton wear! Sara Sethna
I love visiting Anokhi whenever I come into town. New styles and colors come in all the time. I also appreciate that most of the staff is female. It's nice to have their opinions he's males that don't actually wear the clothing.
