Valuable art and history assets for display. Ancient musical, cooking and war instruments. Photographs of tirupati before and now. Few excellent paintings and sculptures. But most things are unlabelled or with no description and many things are damaged due to negligence and lack of maintenance.

You can easily spend over an hour but it could be more if they take it seriously.

Good construction but inside there are not lot more which says the history of temple, old photos and items used. There are only a few important items which are used in ancient times.

Good collection of artefacts, rare pieces of historical, religious, cultural and mythological importance beautifully exhibited.
There is no proper guidance for the visitors. Some displays lack description. An audiovisual show would be very helpful.

Everything in tirumala is at its best. And this place also. It is also one of the famous landmarks in case you miss someone whose unaware of any routes .

Sarat Beesa (15/10/2017 14:44)
You can visit this place for old vintage photos ,statues and bronze models. I like especially the Section where they explain the temple architecture and also explain how they make bronze idols using wax and mud mould

Dasari Subbarao (26/05/2018 18:04)
It's being managed by TTD. It's a wonderful collection of some sculptures and replicas of some important findings in and around Tirumala. All these art pieces are very helpful to understand the history and culture of the place. It is worth watching.
Though members of staff are attending to guide the visitors , professional approach is lacking. They are not serious about explaining the importance of the exhibits.

Parameswaran B (11/03/2018 14:51)
Amazing place. The entry is free and right at the entrance, there's a foot-ware counter, which is also free. The museum display starts with a full scale model of lord Venkatachalapathy, which itself is graceful. There's basic facilities like bathroom, drinking water and all. Going around the whole place takes around an hour. Brilliant maintenance.

Niraj Gutte (24/05/2018 08:35)

Historic memories of Lord venkathwara. Need to visit once. There is a collection of old pictures of temple and city and also history of the temple. Items used to cook Prasad for swami in olden days. Temple bells of those days and lot more. Completely air-conditioned, and easy to travel for piligrims in free bus .
