The hotel is situated in picturesque surroundings but it's quite strenuous to get from the lobby to your room. Quite a climb. Since it's a protected property, lifts and other conveniences are not available. Even the steps are quite steep and carved out of rock. Please do not take aged/sick people there. They will have a hard time. The rooms on the ground floor lack ventilation. Food available is above average. To sum up, Five star prices but less than five star conveniences.Mitali Patil

Nice getaway from Mumbai/Pune. The place is well kept. You can get an audio tour of the fort, some activities for kids and and adults, well kept lawn where you can play football, cricket or just laze around. They staff are quite friendly and helpful. Overall a nice experience for a weekend trip.smriti garg
Loved the stay here. Awesome decor and service. Huge property with lots of options for kids and families. Good as a romantic gateway also if u are interested in historical architecture. Worth a visit for sureJaspal Singh Bagnal
A quick review - A nice beautiful place, can be reached comfortably with a short drive (1hr) from Pune. Roads could have been better though. Clean and nicely maintained. Old folks and kids need to brace up to climb of some stairs at the entrance. There is nice park once you go up to catch some breath. Food served was average. Avoid during summers, in my opinion.
